The Board of Elders of the Estonian Defence League is a body selected by the Central Management of the Estonian Defence League, which is formed of at least 15 members of the Estonian Defence League – distinguished public figures.
Tasks of the Board of Elders are:
- Appointing general goals of the activities of the Estonian Defence League;
- Adopt a position on acquiring, transferring and pledging the real estate of the Estonian Defence League;
- Taking care of the revenues of the Estonian Defence League and assuming a viewpoint on the budget and implementing of the budget;
- Assuming a viewpoint on amending the Statutes and rules of procedure of the Estonian Defence League;
- Solving other matters that do not fall within the competence of the Central Assembly.
