The Estonian Defense League processes personal data, taking into account at every step the principles of lawfulness, fairness and transparency. We follow purposeful limitation and the principle of collecting as little data as possible. The accuracy, integrity and confidentiality of data are important to us, we observe restrictions on storage.
 
We use organisational, physical and information technology security measures to protect personal data based on our internal procedures.

When you visit the website of the Defense League, the data collected and stored about you is limited to:
• The Internet address (IP address) of the computer or computer network you are using;
• The name and address of the computer or computer network Internet service provider you are using;
• Time of visit (time, date, year).
We do not associate IP addresses with personally identifiable information and disclose them only in a non-personalized manner.
 
The Defense League's website and information systems use cookies, which are text files that are downloaded to the visitor's computer via the server. As a result, the web browser you use will return cookie information to us each time you use the website or information system, which allows the same user and his or her settings to be identified. However, cookies can be set in the browsers used by the person and there is a possibility to disable them in the settings.

We collect and store information about which part of the website you visit and how long you stay there. We use this data to compile visitation statistics in order to develop the website and information systems of the Defense League and make it more visitor-friendly. At the same time, we use logging to ensure security, including preventing attacks to our website.

The distribution of cookies by affiliation is as follows:
First-party cookies come from a specific website and are used to identify your device when you revisit and remember your preferences when browsing the website. These are cookies of the Defense League's web portal.
Third-party cookies come from our service provider and are used for web traffic analysis. The Defense League uses Google Analytics cookies as a third party for the website.
The Defense League website uses Google Analytics, a third-party web analytics service provided by Google LLC. Google sets cookies to help analyze how the website is used.
